Tools for technical users

We've produced a series of tools, with reusable code hosted on GitHub, which is intended for an experienced technical audience with access to Stats NZ's Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI).

GitHub is a dedicated online hosting service where the open source community share their code. It allows for code to be made publicly-available, issues to be raised, version control and collaboration.

Our tools

Each tool has its own project repository on GitHub, to store the code and documentation.

This list will be updated as new products become available.

Having an issue with our code?

If you have an issue with our code, you can raise it via GitHub's 'Issues' tab (there's one in each repository), following these steps:

  1. Go to the repository (click on the relevant link above)
  2. Click on the 'Issues' tab
  3. Click on the 'New issues' button
  4. Enter information about the issue you're experiencing.
